Ted Jackson is a Senior Vice President of Paper Operations for Novolex – This includes the Duro Bag, Bagcraft, Burrows and Deluxe brands of Novolex, encompassing over 20 paper packaging plants in the United States, Mexico, Canada and Europe. Novolex is one of North America’s leaders in packaging choice and sustainability serving retail, grocery, food service, hospitality, institutional and industrial markets and is a portfolio company of the Carlyle Group. Novolex has 61 manufacturing locations worldwide that produce sustainable paper and plastic packaging solutions, including two world class plastic recycling facilities. Ted was formerly the Vice President of Operations for Duro Bag and led Environmental Health and Safety in prior roles within Novolex.
Ted has an over 20 year distinguished record of leading teams as a manufacturing executive and consultant to create value by exceeding EBITDA goals through building teams, driving operational improvements, leading M&A due diligence and post-merger integration while improving safety, quality and service. Prior to Novolex, Ted served as a Director with AlixPartners, a global management consulting firm focused on corporate turnarounds and operations performance improvement and was one of the leaders in the Consumer Products and Manufacturing Industry teams driving innovative improvements in cost, productivity, quality and delivery for manufacturing & distribution companies. Earlier career roles include Manufacturing and Supply Chain leadership positions with IBM and SAP.
He has been a key team leader presented with the Kentucky Manufacturer of the Year and the Turnaround Management Association’s Annual Turnaround of the Year Awards. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Physics and Engineering at Clark Atlanta University and an MBA from the Krannert Graduate School of Management at Purdue University.
