Ryan is a COO/CEO & board director, with extensive experience in diverse industries, a record of increasing profitability, market share & developing strong management teams. His communication skills & effectiveness working at all levels of an organization have enriched all his work. Ryan has experience in numerous industries such as Telecommunications, Nuclear Power, Building Products and Industrial Products.

Currently COO of Continental Materials Corporation a holding company consisting of 8 North American manufacturing companies. In the first twelve months with the firm, Ryan has completed the sale of one business unit and three acquisitions of companies for the portfolio.

Ryan also serves as an operating partner for Hiniker (private family owned business) where he has completed a turn-around of the business radically improving its profitability and operating performance.

Previously As EVP and NA President, James Hardie Building Products, and a global executive mgt team member, Ryan held full P&L responsibility (~$1.5Bn annual revenue, 10%+ growth rate) positioning it for growth. Increasing EBIT from 23.7% to 26.3%, he launched innovative products into markets growing at 3x the base business; set the Top of Market segment; reduced vacancy rate of market positions on customer facing side & decreased turnover (20% to 18%).
