Jennifer Simpson is the Executive Director of the Aspen Finance Leaders Fellowship, a program that develops a community of enlightened leaders to chart the course of the global finance industry.
She has worked in the finance field most of her career, including private equity and debt investing at The Gladstone Companies, where she served on a number of middle market company boards. She was also the first executive managing member of the board for Gladstone Securities.
At National City Bank, Jennifer was the chief credit officer for their $4.7 billion small business loan portfolio and held other roles in leveraged lending and middle market banking. During her time at Morgenthaler Partners, she arranged the debt financing for their leveraged buyouts and she was the EVP of Finance and Operations (CFO and CIO) at the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation. Jennifer earned her BS in Economics from Wharton and her MBA from Case Western Reserve University. After college, she was a platoon leader and executive officer in the U.S. Army stationed at Ft. Lewis, Washington.
