It Pays to be Paranoid: Hackers Are After Your Company

Tuesday 8:30 am - 9:15 am, Conference Room (Ballroom A)

Moderators: Joe Uchill

Panelists: Admiral Dennis Blair, Chuck Brooks, Shawn Ram

With so much of our cyber security attention focused on big banks, government installations and other large players in our increasingly digital economy, it’s easy to be lulled into believing that small to medium-sized industrial companies in out-of-the-way locations are safe. You aren’t. If anything, you are more vulnerable.

Companies with fewer manpower resources devoted to security procedures and data protection are often even more vulnerable to ransomware, cyber fraud and other high-tech assaults than more visible targets.

This panel will bring together experts who understand the threats, know what you can do in response and how you should approach cyber security from a strategic and practical perspective.
