When you communicate with us – When you send us an email, we collect your personal information (for example, your name and email address).

Tracking Technologies – When operating our Website, we use various Tracking Technologies, such as web beacons, cookies, pixel tags, scripts, tags, application programming interfaces (“APIs”) and other technologies, to collect information about your use of our Website.   • Industrial Expert data – With respect to Industrial Experts (in addition to any other applicable category set out in this Privacy Notice), we also collect home address, employment and biographical information, social security numbers, banking information, payment preferences, information obtained from third-party background check providers and feedback concerning your experience as an Industrial Expert. We may also obtain information from third parties about you.
  • Payment details – We may collect invoice records; payment records; billing address; payment method; bank account number; card or account security details; BACS details; SWIFT details; IBAN details; payment amount; and payment date.
  • Website data – Our webserver will collect your IP-address, and information about your general location (such as city and country).
  • Information from third parties – This category includes information we receive from our business partners. This may include Personal Data such as your contact details (name, phone, email) as well as details pertaining to your company, your job description, etc.

Non-Personal Data – We collect data about the use of our Website and the characteristics and activities of users, in order to operate it and improve it. We may collect the following non-Personal Data:

Service announcements – To communicate with you and to keep you informed of our latest updates to our Services and provide you service offers.

Marketing purposes – To send you promotional material concerning our Services or our partners’ services. You may choose not to receive our promotional or marketing emails (all or any part thereof) by clicking on the “unsubscribe” link in the emails that you receive from us. Please note that even if you unsubscribe from our newsletter, we may continue to send you service-related updates and notifications, or reply to your queries and feedback you provide us.

Opt-out of receiving marketing materials – If you do not want us to use or share your Personal Data for marketing purposes, you may opt-out in accordance with this “Opt-out” section. Please note that even if you opt-out, we may still use and share your Personal Data with third parties for non-marketing purposes (for example to fulfill your requests, communicate with you and respond to your inquiries, etc.). Industrial Exchange will comply with limitations requested by an employer, through an authorized representative, for its current employees. Industrial Exchange does this to comply with law and best practices. Industrial Exchange also reserves the right to abide by any limitations requested by a third party for the same reason, on a case-by-case basis. Industrial Exchange may discuss with third parties your participation or proposed participation in any project through Industrial Exchange for the purpose of verifying any factual information you provide to us or any consents or approvals that may be needed.

Merger and acquisitions – We may share your data if we enter into a business transaction such as a merger, acquisition, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of some or all of our assets. Any party that acquires our assets as part of such a transaction may continue to use your data in accordance with the terms of this Privacy Notice.

International Transfer of Personal Data

Our products and services may be provided using resources and servers located in various countries around the world, including the U.S. and other countries.
